Wood Fired Cowboy Hat Wine Stopper (Cork Included - Please Specify if you'd like it attached or if you want to use your own cork)

This piece was fired for 6 days and 6 nights in Wisconson at Mill Creek Pottery in a large kiln called an anagama, owned by Simon Levin. A team of folks gathered together, myself included, to stoke the kiln with wood day and night as the temperature rose and flames passed through the entirety of the kiln to produce these rich, earthy and incredible results. The patterns on each piece indicate a path where the flames were moving past, leaving behind flashes of orange and deep browns.

All pieces are fully vitrified, food safe, dishwasher and microwave friendly.
